The main reason was the business itself – I’ve always wanted to work in a company that did something inspiring and Convatec is inspiring and truly cares. The second reason was to be able to set up a Finance team from scratch, developing new talents, and being part of a transformation journey, is what I love to do and where I have big experience.
I’m a proud mum of three while having a successful career where I really feel involved and actively participate in the success of a company that cares about people. In terms of my team and professionally speaking, I’m proud of my team which we’ve built from scratch in the last two years of almost 30 people in two different locations with the same mindset and willingness to improve what we are doing in a challenging context (during Covid and with virtual recruitment and transition sessions).
I’m also proud to see how this team is challenging existing practices and showing how things can be done in a better and more efficient way by convincing the stakeholders to adopt best practices.
