My name is Victor Ellis and my current role at Convatec is Vice President and Managing Director, Corporate Strategy and Business Development. I have been at Convatec a little over 2 years and I am based in San Diego, CA. At Convatec, I lead our strategy efforts, working with our Convatec Executive Leadership Team, Business Unit and Functional Leadership teams, in the development of the annual strategic plans and the corporate strategy. In addition, I am responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and equity investments across Convatec, on a global basis.
I am committed to DE&I and supporting Convatec’s efforts through the Black Employee Network (BEN) Employee Resource Group (ERG), as I have personally been a beneficiary of companies and people that are committed to driving DE&I. At Convatec, I serve as a sponsor for our Black Employee Leadership Program (BELP), in addition to being a mentor in the Convatec Mentoring Programme. I am extremely passionate about supporting my diverse colleagues through sponsorship, mentoring, and being a positive example, with a goal of increasing diversity at Convatec.
