I joined Convatec in May 2020 as a continuous improvement specialist. I was promoted to the role of ‘Chemical Engineer’ in August 2022.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Convatec. It has been a time of great development and growth for me. I have always felt supported by my colleagues at the Rhymney site, and it has been wonderful to be part of such a talented and passionate team.
Since joining Convatec, I have successfully delivered a project to install a Nitrogen generation system. This type of project was new to me at the time and I learnt a great deal leading it. I have had the opportunity to lead the Strategic ‘Alginate Re-design’ project in my current role, through which I have been able to expand my skillset and build on my chemical engineering knowledge. I find this project particularly interesting because of its unique technical challenges.
